The government officials in Denmark have been sharing some considerations with the changes they have done regarding the laws covering land-based and online casino gambling within the country. The Danish Gambling Authority made some revisions on the gambling laws which allow the inclusion of special cases and hardware systems that are used as servers for gambling outside of Denmark or in areas which are not within the limits of Denmark’s jurisdiction. Online casinos fall under the bilateral agreement of Denmark and are subject to the regulatory laws of the country.

It was specifically mentioned in the amendment that the Danish Gaming Authority allows a part of the operation of a gambling system, which is located outside the jurisdiction of Denmark and in a considerable case, to run provided that the ways of conducting the operation has satisfactorily met the standard of the agency. Mr. Kristian Wind, the senior technical adviser of the Danish Gambling Authority, added that the agency had brainstormed over a variety of possible situations and considered the status quo of the numerous offsite online casinos. He mentioned that they had thought about the hindrances of the online casino operations to thoroughly go smoothly in the country and one of those is the operational cost of having the system situated in Denmark.
